Implementation
Planning
Clear communication and planning play an integral part in
the successful implementation of your MicroCheck system.
Planning sessions establish
necessary basis of communication between our support staff and
those who will be involved in using the MicroCheck system. Of
course, the length and topics of each planning session
will vary depending
on the size of the installation. The sessions will take place
in the series of organized steps outlined below:
Step 1
Your MicroCheck representative will meet with key personnel chosen
within your district to discuss their responsibilities throughout
the implementation period. The goal of the first session is to
develop a project outline defining the required steps needed
to complete the job, appointing who are responsible for each
task,
and scheduling a target completion date for each assignment.
Modifications to the project outline are anticipated as the project
matures.
MicroCheck provides project management services to coordinate
and monitor all implementation planning at the rate of $65.00/hour.
Step 2
Your MicroCheck representative can perform site evaluations,
if necessary, for each location to determine specific installation
requirements such as the number of serving lines at each site;
placement of the Point of Sale terminals; location of the Manager's
PC and printer; electrical outlet requirements; cabling and communication
line requirements.
Step 3
MicroCheck will coordinate the delivery of all equipment to a
central site within the district, or individual sites according
to decisions
made during the implementation meetings. Once all equipment is
delivered, appointed school district personnel will install and
test the equipment at the central office and campus sites.
Step 4
Your MicroCheck representative will install the application software
modules at the central office and at one remote school site.
Installation of MicroCheck and the operating system at additional
school sites
are the responsibility of the district personnel. At an additional
charge, MicroCheck can provide installation services for any
additional sites requested.
Step 5
Software training is scheduled according to the number and
type of MicroCheck modules selected by the district. Our goal
throughout the entire implementation process is to create
a team atmosphere. Through collective efforts of our staff and
the school district personnel, we can make the system implementation
process a pleasant experience from start to finish.
